Poco will launch its first smartphone in two months. Due to the raging second wave of Covid-19 and restrictions that have emerged in many states, the company has decided to postpone the launch schedule until June. The phone will compete with Realme 8 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro. The company will launch the Poco M3 Pro 5G at an event on June 8.
The Poco M3 Pro 5G will be sold via Flipkart, the e-commerce platform having already set up a dedicated page. Pricing for the device will be revealed on launch day, but the phone has been introduced worldwide for $ 149 (approx. ₹14,000) for the variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The top variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage was offered for 170 EUR (around 16,000 approx.). Prices in India are expected to be lower or even similar.
In terms of specs, the Poco M3 Pro 5G is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD + display that gets a 90Hz refresh rate.
The phone is expected to be powered by a MediaTtek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. In terms of battery capacity, the phone is expected to have a 5000mAh battery. The battery can be equipped with a fast charge of 18 W.
The Poco M3 Pro 5G can be equipped with a triple lens. The main sensor should be a 48MP unit. The phone may also have a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. In terms of the operating system, the phone is expected to take Android 11 out of the box.
