Oneplus, Xiaomi, Iqoo, Nokia, Motorola and Realme: smartphones launching this week

Many smartphone launches will take place this week. We will see smartphones from OnePlus, Realme, Nokia, Motorola, iQOO to Xiaomi launching from April 25 to April 29, 2022. Some of them will be budget segment phones while others may fit into the mid segment and premium. This week will transform the smartphone ecosystem and push the competition even further.

The launches of these phones will take place on Amazon and Flipkart. Here is the list of phones launched this week:

iQOO Z6 Pro 5G

iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will be launched on April 27. The smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G and 66W FlashCharge. It will be unveiled via Amazon. Apart from the launch date, the Chinese smartphone maker also hinted at the price of the Z6 Pro 5G.

iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will arrive under the 25,000 price range. The iQOO Z6 can come with a 120Hz refresh rate display coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It could also receive a 5,000 mAh battery. The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G is also expected to use a triple rear camera configured with a 64MP primary lens.

Nokia G11 and Nokia G21

The HMD Global-owned smartphone brand may launch the Nokia G11 and Nokia G21 on April 26. These smartphones have already been launched in European markets and now it looks like they are coming to India. The phones teaser suggests that these are battery-centric smartphones.

Expected features of Nokia phones include Unisoc processor, 90Hz refresh rate and 6.5 inch screen. The Nokia G21 may come with a 50MP main camera, while the Nokia G11 may have a 13MP main lens. Battery-centric phones can accommodate at least a 5000Ah battery with a standard charger inside the box.

Realme Narzo 50A Premier

Realme has announced Narzo 50A Prime for April 25 in India. Realme will not provide charger inside the box from Narzo 50A Prime as it said earlier.

Expected specs of the Realme Narzo 50A Prime include a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen. The phone can use the UniSoC T612 processor in octa-core format. It runs on Android 11.

In its other launches, the Narzo 50A Prime featured a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor along with a macro sensor and a B&W sensor. It has an 8MP selfie lens. The smartphone uses a 5,000mAh battery paired with an 18W charger.

Realme GT Neo 3

Realme is bringing GT Neo 3 with a 150W charger on April 29. During the same launch event, Realme will also launch Realme Pad Mini, Realme Buds Q2, and Realme Smart TV.

Realme Pad Mini will come with 6400mAh battery, 8.7 inch screen. The Realme Buds Q2 TWS claims up to 30 hours of total playtime equipped with a 10mm dynamic driver and supports fast charging. Realme 40-inch and 43-inch FHD Smart TVs will sport a frameless full-view display and 24W Dolby Audio quad speakers.

Realme GT Neo 3 is expected to come with a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, a 50MP main lens supported by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. It can get a 32MP selfie camera.

The GT Neo 3 can use the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip paired with 12GB of RAM. It will run on Android 12. The battery can come in two sizes; a 4,500 mAh battery with a 150 W fast charger and a 5,000 mAh battery with an 80 W charger.

Xiaomi 12 Pro

This phone may come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM. It is likely to use a 120W charger for a 4,600mAh battery. It will benefit from similar features such as a 120Hz refresh rate, an AMOLED display and a 50MP triple rear camera setup. It will launch on April 27 in India.


OnePlus will launch OnePlus 10R, Nord CE 2 Lite and Nord Buds on April 28. OnePlus 10R 5G will come with a 150W fast charger paired with a 4,500mAh battery. It will run on MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max. The OnePlus 10R’s display will also support a 120Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite can use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The internal memory can be around 128 GB. Nord CE 2 Lite can run on Android 11 with its own OxygenOS 11 skin on it.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will have a 120Hz refresh rate among the features. The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will come with a 5000mAh battery supported by a 33W charger. It will come with a 64MP triple rear camera.

The Nord Buds will come with 12.4mm drivers with a sweat and moisture resistant design. All of these products are expected to launch through Amazon, OnePlus online and retail stores.
